Flying to Fuerteventura is the easiest way to travel to this wonderful island. Already when you are stepping out of the plane, you feel that a fantastic holiday is about to begin. The airport is located close to the sea, so you might catch a first glimpse of the blue water on arrival.

There are a number of direct flights from the UK to Fuerteventura, the second largest of the Canary Islands. Flights from the UK or Ireland to Fuerteventura take between four and five hours. The airport is situated 5 km away from Fuerteventura’s capital Puerto del Rosario. The popular holiday destination Corralejo is only 35 minutes by car away from the airport. It takes about the same time to go by car to Cotillo. Travelling on from the airport can be done by bus, taxi or by renting a car at the airport. Please be aware, that the buses might run at irregular times and that it also might require some changes to get to locations that are further away from the airport. For example, Costa Calma is located 70 km away from the airport and Morrojable is about 90 km away.

Ryanair offers direct flights to Fuerteventura from Birmingham, Bournemouth, Cork, Dublin, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow Preswick, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool and London (Stansted and Luton). With Easyjet you can fly from Bristol, Liverpool, London Gatwick and London Stansted to Fuerteventura. With Thomas Cook Airlines you can start your holiday in Fuerteventura from Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Glasgow, London Gatwick or Stansted, Manchester, Newcastle or East Midlands. Of course, these are not all airlines that you can use to get to Fuerteventura.
