In contrast to others, this town is not a town that has grown over centuries. Instead it was exclusively created for holidaymakers at the beginning of the 1970s. Therefore there is no historical town centre. Even when it comes to nightlife Costa Calma is, in accordance with its name, a quiet place although a few discotheques offer the opportunity to go out for a dance.
